Poem In Your Post Blog Hop: Summer's Beauty
i thank You God for most this amazing
day: for the leaping greenly spirits of trees
and a blue true dream of sky; and for everything
which is natural which is infinite which is yes
(i who have died am alive again today,
and this is the sun's birthday; this is the birth
day of life and of love and wings: and of the gay
great happening illimitably earth)
how should tasting touching hearing seeing
breathing any--lifted from the no
of all nothing--human merely being
doubt unimaginable You?
(now the ears of my ears awake and
now the eyes of my eyes are opened)
e.e. cummings

Try that for a focus this week, or simply choose any poem that's speaking to you right now. After the kind remarks in your post it would have been impolite not to place one.
Nothing but summer - Juris Kunnoss
As in a fiesta
We flee across a green meadows
from the savage snorting bull clouds.
---- We collapse
into the scent of grass, the bulls
trample us lightly.
We are saved, it's a miracle!
We visited Spain,
now there are other clouds waiting
and other lands.
On my blog I've written a post about the sonnet, for those interested.
Nice poem, Parrish Lantern. You are o very talented.
