Wednesday is Cedarville Farm Share day here in our house, and farm share is one of the reliable joys of summer. Mike, the lead farmer/owner there, tends the crops with his family plus some hired workers and volunteers. In my opinion, he's a direct descendant in the lineage of the New England farmer-philosophers and his reports on each week's activities are (almost) as enchanting as the bounty in each box.
I hope that summer offers each of you her glorious abundance too, and that you find great writing all around you.
